Looks like a great camera. No wifi? Sucky. Tmobiles edge network is slow and they hardly have 3g anywhere, even though they partner with at&t and at&t has 3g just about anywhere they dont support it. I wouldnt trade my G1 for that even if it was free. That just sucks, next thing ya know they will say it wont be 3g compatible. Whats the point of a fancy phone with out good data service?

i just want to knows if this new phone will have windows mobile, i had the dash my tomible and gave it up, wat was a badd idea for the behold which suckssssss, i really enjoy mobile phnoes with windows mobile, cause i can do more

Does anyone know if this requires the very ridiculous MANDATORY data-plan fee? I think T-Mobile limits their phone sales (Sidekick, Behold, etc.) by not having the “data-plan” as an optional feature. I just don’t understand why someone should HAVE to pay $30 extra for internet/email to their phone when they are already paying an internet bill at home? That’s is just absurd & another way for these service providers to squeeze $$ from their customers.

To Francis: I also had problems w/ my sidekick Lx; i would loose reception in random places where i usually get service, it would turn off on its own or get stuck alllllll the time! other little stuff here & there. So i turned it in for the Samsung Behold, it gets annoying at times when you txt especially if your used to the sidkick. But the camera is great & I was waiting for the Samsung Memoir b/c of its 8megapixel camera but i just checked online (My-Tmobile) & its saying that this phone isnt gonna be in stores till march! altho a t-mobile rep told me it was gonna be out feb 25th…ugh confused!!!!!

Eye, I have the G-1, but I am still under my 14 “review”. I tried out one in the store that didn’t have a data plan, and it was still able to receive text and make phone calls, but that was about it. All the other cool stuff you really couldn’t use. I am taking my G-1 back and wait for the new Samsung to come out..If I don’t like it, I have 14 days to return it and probably come back to the G-1. I wasn’t really that fond of the G1 initially, but it’s growing on me and with the upgrades slllooooowwwlly rolling out, it will be worth it eventually. I will keep you guys posted on what I learn about the new Samsung.

Well I’ve been addicted to flashing, due to VZW not wanting us to possess entry towards GPS on our phones. So I found the threads that tought me to flash my cellphone. Can even cook a little, but you’ll find a lot far better chefs available, so I’m pleased to toast their operate. I presently am running Lioryte’s 23529 develop from the WinMo 6.five.one on the Samsung Omnia with VZW. So now I’ve won the Behold 2 from Samsung, been playing with it for any couple of months.I’ve it rooted, I’ve BusyBox on it and aHome UI. looks excellent, functions excellent, but as well much bloatware. (The Cube and much more) Tried the Galaxy trick, really rapid and full of useable memory. It is Android one.5 pure. I would rather update the B2, not revert to Galaxy, and develop from that. I will if that’s the only way, I’ll check new Odins for your B2 and do what ever enable I can to help the B2 community advance the quality of this telephone.I’m seeking forward to assisting make the B2 the ideal Android cellphone offered.
